TradeSTAR is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Recruiter / Account Manager to join our Pflugerville, Texas team. This is an internal TradeSTAR position for a recruiting professional who understands skilled talent, enjoys building relationships, and knows how to connect the right people with the right opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As a Low Voltage Recruiter / Account Manager, your primary focus will be identifying, recruiting, interviewing, and developing relationships with talented low-voltage professionals.

You’ll recruit candidates across multiple skill and experience levels, including Helpers, Level I, Level II and Level III Technicians, Lead Technicians, Service Technicians, Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers.

TradeSTAR is hiring experienced Voice & Data Technicians for commercial low-voltage projects across the Hutto area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems in commercial environments.

Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
Install cable pathways including J-hooks, ladder rack, conduit, and cable tray systems.
Build and organize MDF/IDF rooms, racks, patch panels, cable management, and network equipment.
Label, test, and certify structured cabling installations.
Read blueprints, floor plans, and low-voltage drawings.
Perform cable certification using Fluke testers or similar testing equipment.
Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations.

Qualifications
2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience preferred.
Experience with copper and fiber installations and terminations.
Knowledge of TIA/EIA structured cabling standards.
Experience terminating RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, patch panels, and fiber enclosures.
Experience with Fluke testers, cable analyzers, fusion splicers, or OTDR equipment is a plus.
Ability to work from ladders and lifts.
Valid driver's license required.

TradeSTAR is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Technicians to support commercial projects throughout the Austin area. We are looking for professionals with experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and programming commercial fire alarm systems while ensuring work meets NFPA and NEC standards.

Responsibilities
Perform installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
Service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm equipment.
Program and configure fire alarm control panels and associated field devices.
Install and diagnose SLC loops, NAC circuits, initiating devices, notification appliances, relays, and power supplies.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, riser drawings, and project specifications.
Conduct acceptance testing and complete all required project documentation.
Ensure all work complies with NFPA 72, NEC, manufacturer guidelines, and local AHJ requirements.

Qualifications
2+ years of commercial fire alarm experience preferred.
Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 72.
Experience with systems such as Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Edwards/EST, Siemens, Simplex, Bosch, or Gamewell-FCI.
Familiarity with multimeters and manufacturer programming software.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Texas Fire Alarm License and/or NICET certification is a plus.
