Your Role: Voice & Data Service Technician
In this service-focused role, you ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting voice and data infrastructure in active commercial environments. You ll work independently or alongside Lead Technicians to ensure customers remain connected and operational.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems
Diagnosing and repairing voice and data connectivity issues
Supporting IP-based network infrastructure
Terminating, testing, and certifying copper and fiber cabling
Interpreting blueprints, floor plans, and network schematics
Providing professional, customer-facing service and detailed documentation
Coordinating with project teams, IT staff, and end users

What We re Looking For
Qualified Candidates Should Have:
Hands-on experience servicing voice and data systems in healthcare facilities and hospitals including using dust carts.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (Cat 6/6A, fiber optics)
Experience with testing and certification equipment
Understanding of IP-based networking fundamentals
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with customers
Basic computer skills and service documentation experience
Preferred Experience:
Fiber troubleshooting and termination
Experience supporting live production networks
Manufacturer training or low-voltage certifications
This role is ideal for Service Technicians, or experienced installers ready to move into a service-focused position with room to grow.
