Your Role: Level I Voice/Data Technician

What You’ll Do:

• Install structured cabling to industry standards with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Terminate Cat5e and Cat6 cables at the user/workstation end.
• Identify, pull, and label Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Collaborate with a larger installation team to ensure that all network cabling installations in commercial structures meet industry standards and best practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate installations.
• Independently pull, identify, and label copper and fiber cabling, and install support structures with minimal direct supervision.
• Use a four-pair tester and other industry-specific hand tools like toners, snips, punch tools, and ringers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Be available to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Basic Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Clear an extensive criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule as needed.
