Your Role with the Company:

As a Level III Voice/Data Installer, you will leverage your experience and skills to contribute to large-scale commercial projects. Working with top contractors in Texas, your responsibilities will include:

• Industry Standards Compliance: Lead or collaborate with in a larger installation team. Applying best practices for installing network cabling in commercial structures.
• Cabling Expertise: Identifying, pulling, and labeling Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Support Structures: Direct the installation of support structures to industry standards.
• Terminations: Properly terminating Cat5e and Cat6 on the user/workstation end and handling fiber optic cabling terminations.
• Patch Panels: Roughing out and terminating patch panels and other equipment in MDF/IDF/Communications rooms.
• Blueprints and Schematics: Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Test Equipment Proficiency: Operating test equipment such as 4 pair testers, TDRs, and OTDRs.
• Cable Paths and Surveys: Identifying cable paths, assisting with surveys, and contributing to bids.

• Must have Valid Driver’s license and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Background Profile:

• 3+ years' experience in installing network cabling in a commercial environment.
• Expert at reading prints and schematics.
• Proficient in identifying cable paths, pulling, labeling Copper and Fiber cabling, and installing support structures without supervision.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, color codes, and user end terminations for Fiber Optic and Cat 6 cabling, including closet rough-in and trim-out
