Your Role with the Company

As a Voice/Data Superintendent, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of voice and data systems.  You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of voice/data technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to voice and data systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project success.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Background Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the voice/data industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of voice/data systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, RCDD) are a plus.
