What You ll Be Doing
Install, configure, and service commercial security camera systems, including IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, network equipment, and associated cabling.
Perform camera mounting, aiming, focusing, programming, and troubleshooting to ensure proper system coverage and functionality.
Install and service commercial door hardware and access control components, including electric strikes, magnetic locks, door closers, exit devices, and related hardware.
Read and interpret blueprints, security plans, door schedules, and installation drawings to accurately complete projects.
Troubleshoot camera, cabling, power, network, and access control issues and identify solutions in the field.
Coordinate with general contractors, customers, project managers, and other trades to ensure installations are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
Must be willing and able to work on both local and traveling projects throughout Texas, including overnight travel and extended stays as project requirements dictate.
What You Bring to the Table
Hands-on experience with commercial security cameras, CCTV, and access control systems, including installation, programming, troubleshooting, and service.
Strong knowledge of commercial door hardware, including electric strikes, maglocks, door closers, exit devices, and related access control components.
Ability to independently troubleshoot cameras, cabling, power, networking, and access control equipment while maintaining professional workmanship.
A travel-ready, dependable mindset with the flexibility to work both local and traveling projects throughout Texas, including overnight stays when required.
Required to have OSHA 10 or 30 Construction certification.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
