Structured Cabling Technician Job Description:
Install, route, and secure structured cabling systems (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber) in commercial facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Terminate, label, and certify network cabling, patch panels, and fiber connectors using professional tools, testers, and certification equipment.
Build out and organize telecom rooms by installing racks, ladder trays, grounding, cable pathways, and structured cable management systems.
Interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and job specifications to accurately execute cable pathways, device placement, and equipment installation.
Diagnose and repair connectivity issues, perform system upgrades, and support project leads by offering experience-based problem-solving and field insight.

Basic Requirement:
2+ years of experience installing structured cabling.
Must have a Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
