Your Role as a Structured Cabling Technician: As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of network cabling systems. You will be involved in various projects, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Install support structures such as J-hooks, cable slings, and cable trays.
• Terminate workstation outlets and closet equipment (110 & 66 blocks, patch panels).
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of network cabling systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Background Profile:

• 2+ years of experience as a Structured Cabling Technician.
• Familiarity with EIA/TIA standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in identifying, pulling, and labeling Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cable.
• Experience with termination of copper and fiber network cabling.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
