Structured Cabling Installer Job Description:
The Structured Cabling installer will assist with the installation and support of low-voltage cabling systems on commercial projects. This role focuses on learning industry standards while performing cable pulling, and basic terminations under the supervision of senior technicians.
Assist with pulling, routing, and securing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
Perform basic terminations on jacks, patch panels, and faceplates
Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, and conduit
Label cables according to project specifications
Maintain job site cleanliness and follow safety procedures
Read and follow basic blueprints and work orders
Support senior technicians as needed
Basic Requirements:
1 year of experience in structured cabling or construction preferred
Must have Valid Driver s License and own transportation
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to work a flexible schedule
