Pay Rate: $18-20/hr

We re looking for motivated Sprinkler Fitter Helpers to support commercial fire sprinkler installation and inspection work throughout the San Antonio area. If you re mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to work on active job sites, this is a strong entry point into the Life Safety industry.
About the Opportunity / What You ll Do:
As a Sprinkler Fitter Helper, you ll work alongside licensed fitters and inspectors on new construction, tenant finish, and retrofit projects. You ll learn how fire suppression systems are built, tested, and maintained while gaining hands-on experience with system piping, hardware, and inspection procedures.
You ll:
Assist with installation of fire sprinkler piping, fittings, hangers, and supports
Measure, cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision
Install branch lines, mains, and risers using proper methods and tools
Help perform basic system walk-throughs and inspection support tasks
Assist in tagging, identifying, and documenting system components
Carry materials, stage job site tools, and maintain a safe, clean workspace
Learn to read installation drawings to identify pipe routes and system layouts
Support testing procedures such as hydrostatic testing and visual inspections
Qualifications / Who You Are
Mechanical aptitude and interest in fire protection or mechanical trades
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools
Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods
Comfort working in commercial construction environments
Willingness to learn NFPA-related installation methods and inspection processes
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Ability to work days, occasional nights, and overtime as required
