TradeSTAR is hiring Security & Access Control Technicians for leading low-voltage integration contractors in the Austin area.
Open Roles:
Helper / Apprentice Technicians start your career in security / low-voltage systems
Level I III Technicians skilled in cabling, installation, terminations
Lead / Service Technicians experienced in crew leadership, programming, system service
Job Duties:
Install & terminate access control panels, readers, mag locks, strikes
Mount & wire CCTV / IP camera systems
Read blueprints, interpret system drawings
Troubleshoot & service existing systems
Collaborate with team & clients for quality project completion
Requirements:
1+ years experience in security, access control, or low-voltage systems (preferred for tech-level roles)
Familiarity with CCTV, IP cameras, and access control hardware
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Capable of reading blueprints / wiring diagrams
Reliable transportation and valid driver s license
Must pass background check & drug screening
Team-oriented, professional, and eager to learn and advance
