Access Control Lead Technician- Job Description:
Ability to read wiring diagrams, building prints, identify wire paths, safely and professionally initiate installation progress onsite.
Experienced installing video surveillance & electronic lock devices using cutting edge technology with systems such as C-Cure 9000, Lenel, Axis and Milestone.
Knowledgeable with fundamentals of system functions, electronics wiring, network technology and project documentation.
Prepare for security/access control alarm installations by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; coordinating schedules with customers.
Plan security/access control installations by surveying and evaluating location; identifying alarm installation requirements; laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
Establishes security/access control alarm system by installing equipment; running wires; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to building codes, regulations, and standards.
Verifies security/access control alarm system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and checking signals; identifying and correcting problems.
Maintains records by documenting installation.
Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions.
Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices, keeping security information confidential.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
