Your Role as an Access Control Technician

As an Access Control Technician, you’ll play a critical role in providing security and peace of mind for commercial clients by installing and maintaining access control systems. Your responsibilities include:

• Installing and troubleshooting access control systems, including card readers, electronic locks, and control panels.
• Programming and configuring systems to meet project specifications.
• Running and terminating low-voltage cabling for access control and surveillance devices.
• Testing and certifying system functionality for optimal performance.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and device maps.
• Collaborating with project managers and team members to ensure successful project completion.

Background Profile

We are looking for dependable and skilled individuals with the following qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in low-voltage cabling or access control installation (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with AMAG, LenelS2, or similar systems a plus.
• Hands-On Knowledge: Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to Excellence: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Willing to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
