Your Role as an Access Control Technician

As an Access Control Technician, you will:

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced access control systems, security alarms, and video surveillance equipment.
• Perform system diagnostics and ensure all installations meet operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Provide exceptional customer service by offering technical support and system demonstrations.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to complete accurate installations.
• Document work progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining access control systems, video surveillance, or alarm systems in commercial settings.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with platforms like Lenel, AMAG, or similar access control systems is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
• Blueprint Proficiency: Capability to read and interpret technical blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
• Screening: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
