Your Role as a Security Access Control Project Manager:
As a Security Access Control Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading security system installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the installation and integration of access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Managing project timelines, budgets, materials, and subcontractors.
Coordinating with clients, engineers, technicians, and general contractors to ensure successful project completion.
Conducting site visits, reviewing blueprints, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
Supervising field technicians, providing leadership, training, and technical support.
Managing procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple projects.
Troubleshooting system issues, testing equipment, and verifying proper system functionality.
Background Profile:
5+ years of experience in security system installation and project management.
Expertise in access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Experience working with platforms such as Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, Bosch, Avigilon, Honeywell, or similar.
Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, structured cabling, and network security integration.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
Proven leadership experience managing project budgets, schedules, and teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
PMP, BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer certifications (preferred but not required).
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
