Your Role as a Project Coordinator:
As a Project Coordinator, you will provide critical support for fire alarm and life safety system installations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include:
Assisting Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
Communicating with clients, vendors, and field technicians to ensure project timelines are met.
Tracking project progress, material orders, and compliance documentation.
Coordinating permits, inspections, and compliance with NFPA regulations.
Preparing reports, maintaining job files, and updating project databases.
Ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
Background Profile:
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in fire protection, life safety, low-voltage, or construction industries.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, or security systems (preferred but not required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Experience with permits, compliance, and industry regulations is a plus.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
