What You ll Do as a Fire Sprinkler Designer
Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial facilities
Prepare detailed drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, and hydraulic calculations
Ensure designs comply with NFPA 13, local AHJ requirements, and project specifications
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, and installation teams
Review submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance
Assist with design revisions, material selection, and value engineering when needed
Provide technical support to field teams during installation and inspections
Who You Are
3+ years of experience designing commercial fire sprinkler systems
Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13 and local fire codes
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, or fire sprinkler design software
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, or deluge systems
Background in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical environments
NICET II or III preferred (or actively pursuing)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
