Your Role as a Nurse Call Technician:
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and servicing nurse call systems in healthcare environments, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include:

• Cabling & Installation: Identifying cable paths, pulling, labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cables, and terminating connectors. Wiring audio and non-audio devices such as pull cords, call bed stations, and code blue buttons.
• Nurse Call Systems: Installing control panels, annunciator panels, and patient stations.
• System Setup: Programming, testing, and troubleshooting systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Coordination: Working with healthcare staff to minimize disruptions during installations.
• Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and system maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• User Training: Training healthcare staff on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
• Documentation: Accurately documenting installation processes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Integration: Supporting integration of nurse call systems with other healthcare communication systems.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.
