TradeSTAR is seeking a Nurse Call Technician for an established client with opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position is ideal for a low-voltage technician who wants to build specialized experience with healthcare communication technology.
Experience with Rauland-Borg, Hill-Rom, and Executone Nurse Call systems is highly preferred.
What You ll Do
You ll work alongside experienced technicians installing Nurse Call and related electronic healthcare systems in hospitals and other medical facilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
Pulling, routing, identifying, and labeling low-voltage cabling.
Installing cable supports and pathways.
Mounting and terminating Nurse Call devices and related hardware.
Assisting with installation of Rauland-Borg, Hill-Rom, and Executone systems.
Performing basic device terminations.
Testing installed cabling and devices.
Using basic hand tools and test equipment, including a multimeter.
Following prints, device layouts, and installation documentation.
Supporting experienced technicians with system installation and troubleshooting.
Working on new construction, renovation, and occupied healthcare environments.
What We re Looking For
A strong candidate will have:
Previous Nurse Call or commercial low-voltage installation experience.
Rauland-Borg experience preferred.
Hill-Rom Nurse Call experience preferred.
Executone Nurse Call experience preferred.
Experience pulling and routing low-voltage cable.
Familiarity with mounting and terminating electronic devices.
Basic understanding of multimeter operation and testing.
Ability to follow prints, layouts, and installation instructions.
Experience working safely and professionally in commercial environments.
Dependability and the ability to work effectively as part of an installation team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license.
Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends when project schedules require.
