Your Role as a Nurse Call Helper:
Learning and adhering to industry standards and best practices for installing network cabling in commercial structures.
Identifying cable paths, pulling, and labeling CAT5e and CAT6 cabling, and terminating T-Tap and inline 4 Pair connectors.
Wiring dome lights, audio and non-audio devices including pull cord stations, call bed stations, duty stations, and code blue buttons.
Installing nurse call systems, including control panels, annunciator panels, and patient stations.
Performing system programming, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
Coordinating with healthcare facility staff to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth installation processes.
Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Training end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of nurse call systems.
Documenting installation processes, maintenance activities, and system configurations accurately.
Providing support for integration with other healthcare communication systems.
Basic Requirements:
Must have a Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
