Based in Dallas Texas and founded in the early 2000s, our client is a national leader in Electrical, Critical Power Services, and Telecommunications.  They have received multiple awards from local trade groups and national organizations for their safety program, safety record, and innovative use of technology.  Our client provides electrical design build services for Data Centers, Central Offices, large commercial structures, Solar farms, and Wind farms.  In addition, they provide disaster recovery and critical power services.  They have been a part of many large and notable projects in the DFW area and around the country and are continuing to grow.

Your Role with the Company

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading installation teams to success. Your responsibilities include project planning, coordination, and overseeing commercial voice and data installations, as well as retrofit projects. You'll be tasked with managing project scope, financials, cost control, budgets, product submittals, RFI's, material and manpower scheduling, logistics, reporting, projections, and contractual requirements. While primarily based in the office, you will stay connected to the field through periodic visits, updates from field management, and interactions with General Contractors.

Background Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in project management.
  • BICSI RCDD Preferred.
  • Proficient in reading prints and schematics.
  • Capable of identifying cable paths, pulling, identifying, and labeling Copper and Fiber cabling, and installing support structures.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards, various color codes, and user-end terminations for Fiber Optic, Cat5e, and Cat 6 cabling, as well as closet rough-in and trim-out experience.
  • Expert proficiency with various test equipment, including 4 pair testers, TDR's, and OTDR's.
  • Capable of leading one or more groups of installers and technicians in network cable installation.
  • Able to perform site surveys, assist with bids, and interact with General Contractors, End Users, and Authorities having Jurisdiction confidently and professionally.
  • An excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, capable of producing accurate jobsite documentation.
  • Possesses industry or product-specific certifications (BICSI, Leviton, Commscope, etc.).
  • Available for day, night, weekend work as needed, including overtime.
  • Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Can pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
