TradeSTAR is seeking experienced Licensed Journeyman Electricians for immediate opportunities with some of Houston's premier commercial electrical contractors. Qualifications
Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
Strong commercial electrical experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Capable of working independently with little to no supervision
Experience leading crews and mentoring apprentice electricians
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings
Plan and lay out conduit runs and electrical installations
Install EMT, RMC, PVC, and other raceway systems
Bend conduit, including 90s, offsets, saddles, kicks, and parallel runs
Install switchgear, panels, transformers, lighting, and electrical devices
Pull and terminate feeders and branch circuits
Troubleshoot electrical systems using meters and testing equipment
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and job specifications
Lead crews when needed while maintaining productivity and quality
Promote a safe work environment and enforce job site safety standards
