Licensed Fire Suppression Technician Job Description

• Install and service fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire suppression systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and other safety equipment.
• Identify and repair issues in existing systems, ensuring all components are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs, providing detailed reports as required.
• Collaborate with other technicians and project managers to complete installations and services on time and within budget.
• Educate clients on the proper operation and maintenance of fire suppression systems.

• Valid Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL)- is a plus
• Valid Texas Fire Suppression License (FEL-A)- Required
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation tasks.
• Fire Alarm License is a plus.
