TradeSTAR is partnering with a well-established low voltage contractor supporting San Antonio s growing institutional and government project market. If you re a licensed Fire Alarm Technician ready to take ownership of your work and grow into leadership, this is your opportunity to get on a long-term project with a strong pipeline.
This role is ideal for a Level II Fire Alarm Technician (FAL) who can handle installs, testing, and troubleshooting while working alongside a solid crew.

What You ll Do
Install, terminate, and service commercial fire alarm systems
Work with devices like smoke detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, and duct detectors
Perform system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting (including ground faults)
Read blueprints and layout cable paths for efficient installs
Assist with panel terminations and system startups
Document progress, test results, and material needs
Support or lead small crews on active job sites

What You Bring
Active Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL required)
2+ years of commercial fire alarm installation experience
Strong understanding of NFPA 72 standards and fire alarm systems
Experience reading blueprints and running jobs efficiently
Ability to troubleshoot and test systems independently
Familiarity with VOM meters and basic electrical concepts
Reliable transportation and solid work ethic
