About the Opportunity / What You ll Do
You ll join a team handling installation, service, and commissioning of fire alarm systems on active commercial projects throughout the San Antonio area.
You will:
Install, terminate, and program fire alarm systems and initiating/notification devices
Interpret fire alarm drawings, riser diagrams, scope sheets, and submittals
Run and dress cable, install conduit, and build system pathways
Test, troubleshoot, and verify proper system functionality
Communicate with inspectors, project managers, and site supervisors
Ensure full compliance with NFPA-72 and local authority requirements
Complete documentation and maintain accurate system records
Qualifications / Who You Are:
This role is for licensed, experienced fire alarm professionals. You must have:
A current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL or higher)
3+ years of commercial fire alarm installation, service, or commissioning experience
Strong knowledge of major fire alarm panels, devices, and programming fundamentals
Ability to read and apply NFPA-72 and local code standards
Experience working on commercial construction and renovation sites
Proven troubleshooting ability and confidence working independently
A strong work ethic and professional communication skills
