Your Role with the Company
As a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician, you will:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Conduct device terminations, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and audio/visual alarms.
  • Perform panel programming, testing, and certification of fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors and team members to ensure projects are completed to code and on schedule.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to plan and execute system installations.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.

Background Profile
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A valid State of Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL).
  • 2+ years of experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and testing fire alarm panels.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 72 and other fire safety standards.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, if required.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
