Your Role as a Fire Alarm Technician

As a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician, you will be an essential part of safeguarding lives and property. Your responsibilities include:

• Installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Performing device terminations, including smoke detectors, pull stations, strobes, and panels.
• Troubleshooting ground faults and other system issues.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Conducting inspections to ensure systems meet NFPA and local codes.
• Providing daily progress updates and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with a team to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Background Profile

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in fire alarm installation and troubleshooting.
• Licensing: Active State of Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL required).
• Skills:
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment and fire alarm panels.
• Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends if needed.
