Your Role as a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician: As a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician, you will:

• Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems including panels, smoke detectors, pull stations, horns, and strobes.
• Perform device terminations and panel programming to ensure systems function correctly.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to meet NFPA and local fire code requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Lead small teams of installers on job sites, ensuring high-quality and timely project completion.
• Maintain proper documentation of installations, tests, and repairs.

Background Profile:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial fire alarm installations and service.
• License: State of Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using testing equipment and software for fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with NFPA standards, local fire codes, and industry best practices.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
