Your Role:
As a Level II Voice/Data Technician, you’ll bring your expertise to large-scale commercial projects and work with top contractors throughout Texas. Your key responsibilities include:

• Industry Standards: Applying best practices for installing network cabling in commercial structures.
• Cabling: Identifying, pulling, and labeling Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
• Support Structures: Installing support structures independently, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Terminations: Terminating Cat5e and Cat6 at the workstation end, as well as performing fiber optic terminations.
• Patch Panels: Installing and terminating patch panels and related equipment in MDF/IDF rooms.
• Blueprints and Schematics: Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to execute precise installations.
• Test Equipment: Proficiency with equipment like 4-pair testers, TDRs, and OTDRs.
• Cable Paths & Surveys: Identifying cable paths, assisting with surveys, and contributing to project bids.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
