About the Role:
As a Level II Access Control Technician, you will:
Install, pull, dress, and label cabling for access control and related low-voltage systems.
Mount, wire, and assist in configuring access control components such as card readers, door hardware, controllers, power supplies, and related devices.
Terminate and test low-voltage cabling including Cat6 and multi-conductor cable.
Assist senior technicians and leads with system layout, device placement, and panel work.
Help with troubleshooting and system verification under minimal supervision.
Work as part of a structured team with Helpers, Level I Technicians, and Lead Technicians to complete commercial installations.
Your Background:
Ideal candidates typically have:
3+ years of experience installing access control or other electronic security systems.
Knowledge of commercial door hardware, strikes, mag locks, and card reader wiring.
Familiarity with cabling pathways, support structure installation, and basic industry standards.
Experience reading prints, risers, and device layouts.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license.
Willingness to work days, nights, or weekends as project demands require.
