In this role, you ll move beyond basic installs and take on more complex access control systems installing, configuring, and troubleshooting solutions used in commercial, corporate, healthcare, and educational environments. This is a strong next step for technicians ready to sharpen their skills and grow toward Lead Technician, Foreman, or Project Manager roles.

Your Role
As a Level II Access Control Technician, you ll be responsible for:
Installing, terminating, and troubleshooting access control systems in commercial environments
Working with door hardware including electric strikes, mag locks, and request-to-exit devices
Pulling, dressing, and terminating low-voltage cabling for access control and related systems
Assisting with controller panel terminations and device addressing
Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Supporting Lead Technicians with jobsite coordination, tools, and materials
Mentoring Level I technicians and helping maintain quality standards
Testing systems to ensure proper operation and client satisfaction

Qualifications
2+ years of low-voltage or access control installation experience
Hands-on experience with access control devices and basic door hardware
Familiarity with cabling standards and low-voltage best practices
Ability to troubleshoot system and wiring issues
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional jobsite presence and safety-conscious mindset
