Your Role as a Level I Structured Cabling Technician

As a Level I Technician, you will:

• Assist with the installation of structured cabling systems, including pulling, labeling, and dressing Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
• Learn to terminate and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Support the build-out of IDF and MDF closets under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
• Work with tools and equipment to install cable supports such as J-hooks, ladders, and trays.
• Follow safety standards and best practices on all projects.
