Your Role as a Level I Security Access Control Technician:

As a Level I Security Technician, you will assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems. Responsibilities include:
Pulling, labeling, and terminating low-voltage cabling for access control and security systems.
Assisting with the installation of card readers, mag locks, door strikes, and intrusion detection devices.
Mounting and positioning security cameras and access control panels.
Learning to program and configure video surveillance and access control systems.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams to assist senior technicians.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and project requirements.

Background Profile:

1-2 years of experience in security, low-voltage, or electrical installation.
Interest in security systems, access control, and structured cabling.
Basic experience with hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in different job site conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
