About the Opportunity
Our client is a respected low voltage contractor specializing in commercial security, access control, and CCTV systems. You ll be leading crews on projects that demand precision, professionalism, and technical skill.
This role is ideal for a Level III technician or experienced Level II ready to step into leadership full-time.
What You ll Do
As a Lead Security Technician, you will:
Lead crews of 5 15 technicians on small to large commercial projects
Read blueprints and coordinate cable pathways and device layout
Install and terminate access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion systems
Install locks, strikes, mag-locks, DPS, REX devices, and power transfer hinges
Mount and configure cameras (IP and analog)
Perform system programming and assist with commissioning
Conduct job walks and communicate with project managers and clients
Ensure quality control, productivity, and safety on-site
Track materials and provide daily progress updates
You ll be the point person in the field setting the tone and the pace.
What We re Looking For
5+ years of commercial security / access control experience
Texas Security License (required)
Strong experience with card access systems (Lenel, AMAG, Software House, or similar preferred)
Experience installing and terminating door hardware and locking systems
Ability to lead crews and manage workflow
Proficient in blueprint reading and system layout
Strong troubleshooting skills
Professional communication skills
OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus
