Your Role as a Lead Cable Technician: As a Lead Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. You will lead projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the installation of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Install support structures such as J-hooks, cable slings, and cable trays.
• Terminate workstation outlets and closet equipment (110 & 66 blocks, patch panels).
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of network cabling systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Document project progress and complete necessary paperwork.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.

Background Profile:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cable Technician.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring structured cabling systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting network cabling systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• BICSI certification is a plus but not required.
