Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Industrial & Commercial Projects

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on industrial pump systems and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components, wiring systems, control systems, and motor controls for industrial applications.
• Adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes, ensuring compliance and safety on all projects.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, mechanical technicians, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Experience in industrial electrical work, including installing motor controls, switchgear, and other high-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
