Your Role: As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all systems are installed according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and local codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems, including ground faults, device malfunctions, and wiring issues.
• Perform regular inspections and provide reports on system performance and necessary upgrades.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and other relevant codes and standards.
• Provide on-site training to clients on system operation and maintenance.

Background Profile:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards, particularly NFPA 72.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
