Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Fire Alarm Lead Technician to join our team. This role involves overseeing remodel upgrades in hospitals, medical facilities, and new commercial construction projects in the southeast Houston, Texas City, and Galveston areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and training Junior Technicians and Helpers in the installation of support structures and cable pulling throughout building infrastructure.
  • Expertly installing duct detectors, strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and performing fire panel terminations.
  • Utilizing multi-meters and testing equipment to perform advanced troubleshooting and testing.
  • Reading and interpreting building prints to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
  • Coordinating with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Managing inventory and ordering necessary materials and equipment.
  • Preparing detailed reports on project status, including progress updates and any issues encountered.
  • Ensuring all installations and modifications meet local and national fire codes and standards.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and maintaining open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring timely completion of projects within budget constraints.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass an extensive criminal background check.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Fire Alarm License is a plus.
