Your Role as a Level I Fire Alarm Technician:
As a Level I Technician, you ll collaborate with a skilled team on commercial projects across a variety of environments including hospitals, schools, campuses, and government buildings. You'll:
Pull fire alarm cable in J-hooks, bridle rings, and conduit
Perform basic terminations on devices like smoke detectors, pull stations, horns, and strobes
Understand Ohm meter operation and basic troubleshooting techniques
Learn wiring requirements and protection methods for fire alarm systems
Apply basic NFPA standards to ensure proper installation and compliance
What We re Looking For:
1+ years of experience installing commercial fire alarm systems
Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards
Basic troubleshooting and testing knowledge
A valid Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL)
Safety-focused mindset and reliable transportation
Valid driver s license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
