Fire Alarm Lead Technician Job Description:
Lead and mentor Fire Alarm Technicians and Helpers as they route pathways, pull cable, install circuits, build support structures, and mount system components.
Perform expert installation and commissioning of system devices strobes, pull stations, smoke and heat detectors and execute clean, accurate fire panel terminations.
Utilize diagnostic tools and test equipment to pinpoint issues, verify functionality, and ensure peak system performance.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to keep work aligned, efficient, and on target.
Partner with Project Managers and collaborate with other trades to support seamless system integration.
Conduct site walkthroughs to validate workmanship, ensure safety, and confirm compliance with all applicable codes.
Maintain clear, organized documentation including logs, inspection reports, test data, and corrective actions.
Uphold NFPA standards and all local regulations, ensuring every installation meets or exceeds industry expectations.
Build trust with customers through professionalism, expertise, and high-quality work.
Basic Requirements:
