Level I Fire Alarm Installer Dallas/DFW
Our client is an established Texas life safety contractor with decades of industry experience, multiple offices across the state, and a strong pipeline of commercial projects. Their team provides fire alarm solutions for commercial buildings, schools, hospitality, and medical facilities.
You ll work alongside experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience with systems that matter.
What You ll Do
Pull fire alarm cable through J-hooks, bridle rings, and conduit
Install and terminate basic fire alarm devices, including horns/strobes, pull stations, and smoke detectors
Install support structures, outlet boxes, junction boxes, cable, and conduit
Follow blueprints and installation drawings to complete assigned work
Assist Lead, Level II, and Level III technicians with installation, testing, and troubleshooting
Use basic test equipment, including a volt-ohm meter
Maintain quality workmanship and follow jobsite safety requirements
Learn fire alarm system fundamentals, wiring requirements, and applicable NFPA standards
What We re Looking For
Previous low-voltage or fire alarm installation experience is preferred
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Familiarity with pulling cable and installing low-voltage devices
Ability to work safely in commercial construction environments
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
A desire to build a long-term career in life safety
