Fire Alarm Installer Job Description:
As a Fire Alarm Installer, you will work collaboratively with our team and undertake the following responsibilities:
Pulling cable in various support structures such as J hooks, bridle rings, and conduit.
Assisting with basic device terminations, including strobes, pull stations, and smoke detectors.
Selecting outlet/junction boxes, cable, and conduit effectively.
Demonstrating familiarity with Ohm Meter operation and providing assistance with basic testing and troubleshooting.
Possessing a basic understanding of various types of fire alarm systems, electrical requirements, alarm-initiating devices, control functions, and alarm-indicating appliances.
Familiarity with NFPA standards as they relate to fire alarm installation, including key terminology like "shall"and "should,"as well as the role of the "authority that has jurisdiction."
Basic Requirements:
Must have Valid Driver s license and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
