Fire Alarm Installer - Job Description:
Assist with the installation of commercial fire alarm systems on new construction, renovation, and upgrade projects.
Install and route fire alarm cable while maintaining proper support, organization, and workmanship.
Install system devices including strobes, horn/strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, modules, and other fire alarm equipment.
Build and install supports, mounting hardware, backboxes, and other components required for system installation.
Assist experienced Technicians with device terminations, panel work, testing, and system startup.
Read and follow construction drawings, floor plans, device layouts, and basic fire alarm system documentation.
Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic testing equipment safely and effectively.
Identify basic installation issues and work with senior Technicians or field leadership to resolve problems.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following company and job-site safety requirements.
Coordinate with other field personnel and trades to help keep installations progressing on schedule.
Complete assigned work according to project specifications and applicable fire and life-safety requirements.
Take an active role in learning the trade, developing technical skills, and progressing toward greater responsibility within the fire alarm industry.
Ensure installations meet applicable local requirements and national fire and life-safety standards.
Communicate professionally with customers and project stakeholders while addressing field issues and changing project needs.
Help drive projects toward successful completion by maintaining productivity, quality, schedule, and cost expectations.

Basic Requirement:
Valid Driver s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to utilize hand and power tools in a safety-oriented environment.
