About the Opportunity
As a Fire Alarm Helper, you'll assist experienced technicians with the installation of commercial fire alarm systems on new construction and renovation projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop valuable skills and grow into a Fire Alarm Technician.
What You'll Do
Assist with pulling fire alarm cable through conduit, J-hooks, and cable supports.
Help install fire alarm devices, including smoke detectors, horn/strobes, pull stations, and modules.
Organize materials and stage equipment for daily tasks.
Assist with labeling, testing, and trimming out devices.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Follow directions from lead technicians and adhere to all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Previous construction or low-voltage experience is preferred but not required.
Comfortable using basic hand tools.
Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders when needed.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
