Fire Alarm Helper Job Description:

Assist senior and Lead Technicians with the installation of commercial fire alarm systems while learning industry best practices, construction standards, and applicable NFPA codes.
Study and interpret construction drawings, device layouts, wiring schematics, and floor plans to identify equipment locations and routing requirements.
Support rough-in and trim-out activities on new construction and renovation projects by pulling fire alarm cable, securing pathways, and preparing systems for final device installation.
Install and terminate life safety devices including smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, manual pull stations, horn/strobes, control modules, and relay components under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, and meters to perform continuity checks, verify circuit integrity, confirm operating voltages, and assist with basic system diagnostics.
Maintain a safe and organized work area while adhering to jobsite safety requirements and construction schedules.
Develop the technical knowledge and field experience necessary to advance into higher-level Fire Alarm Technician roles.

Basic Requirement:
Valid Driver s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to utilize hand and power tools in a safety-oriented environment.
