Your Role as a Structured Cabling Technician: As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will:

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling including Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber cables.
• Set up cable support systems such as J-hooks, cable trays, and ladder racks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and certification of network cabling installations.
• Work in various commercial environments including data centers, offices, schools, and healthcare facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure high-quality and timely project completion.

Background Profile:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in structured cabling installation, including pulling, terminating, and testing copper and fiber cabling.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Fluke testers, cable certification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, EIA/TIA, and NEC codes.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
