Your Role as an Access Control Technician: As an Access Control Technician, you will:

• Install, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, electronic locks, card readers, and security devices.
• Run and terminate cables including Cat5e, Cat6, and composite cabling.
• Configure and test access control panels, software, and related devices.
• Conduct thorough testing, commissioning, and documentation of installed systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.

Background Profile:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming access control systems in commercial environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to access control and security installations.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with systems like Lenel, AMAG, Honeywell, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Requirements: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
