Your Role as an Audio-Visual Technician: As an Audio-Visual Technician, you will:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, and control systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label cabling, including Cat6, HDMI, and audio cables.
• Set up and program AV equipment such as video conferencing systems, digital signage, and sound systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
• Work closely with project managers and team members to complete installations on time and to specification.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer handovers.

Background Profile:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in commercial AV installations and service.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AV system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, or AMX is preferred.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Must be willing to travel.
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality work.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends as needed.
