Your Role as an Entry-Level Installer:
As an Entry-Level Installer, you will assist with the installation and service of electronic security, access control, video surveillance, fire alarm, and low-voltage cabling systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Pulling, labeling, and organizing low-voltage cables (Cat6, fiber optic, coaxial, etc.).
Installing and terminating security devices, access control panels, cameras, and alarm systems.
Assisting technicians with mounting, wiring, and testing system components.
Learning to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Working in commercial environments such as corporate offices, hospitals, schools, and government buildings.
Background Profile:
Strong interest in technology, electronics, or construction.
Experience with hand and power tools (preferred but not required).
Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and work in a team.
Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various job site conditions.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred but not required).
