Your Role: Entry-Level Apprentice Technician (Helper / Level I)
As an Entry-Level Apprentice Technician, you ll work alongside experienced Level II, Level III, and Lead Technicians, learning the fundamentals of commercial low-voltage systems installation. This is a hands-on role where training happens on the job every day.
You ll assist with installing and supporting:
Fire alarm systems
Security and access control systems
Voice and data cabling
Audio-visual and communication systems
Projects include:
Data Centers
Multi-story office buildings
Hospitals and healthcare facilities
College and university campuses
Stadiums and entertainment venues
Intermediate and High Schools
Along the way, you ll gain valuable skills such as:
Reading blueprints and construction drawings
Understanding commercial building standards and codes
Using industry-specific tools and testing equipment
Learning best practices and trade knowledge passed down from seasoned professionals
This role is designed to grow into Level II and Level III Technician positions, and beyond opening doors to Lead Technician, Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Manager opportunities.
Who We re Looking For
Comfortable working in construction or physically demanding environments
Mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools
Motivated to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willing to travel to job sites throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas
Available to work days, nights, or weekends as projects require
In possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver s license
No prior low-voltage experience required we ll help you build the skills.
